SERIES OF VIDEO PORTRAITS PRODUCED FOR A JEWELRY EXHIBITION
The Jerwood Applied Arts Prize is a partnership between the Crafts Council and Jerwood Charity. Now in its eleventh year, it is an open submission competition that runs over a six-year cycle covering the following creative disciplines: Metal, Jewellery, Ceramics, Glass, Textiles and Furniture.
For the 2007 exhibition The Light Surgeons were commissioned to make a series of six short films for display in the exhibition, presenting a portrait of each short listed jeweller and giving an insight into their working process and background.
